DIE-LOK™ Multislide Systems

MORE THAN A LOCKING CYLINDER.

PFA's KOR-LOK™ Side-Action Systems are sometimes imprecisely called locking cylinders, yet they are really much more. Locking Cylinders typically simply interrupt rod motion with a lock or clamp and do not provide the critical output force (force intensification and ulitmate core preload) needed for Zero Flash injection molding and die casting.

PFA's KOR-LOK™ Side-Action Systems are specifically designed to outperform these locking cylinders by creating 10x the power of a standard cylinder at end of stroke to preload the core above the injection force and then lock that force in place.

See our "Articles" section to learn about the engineering and physics or simply read on to see what real preload capability can do for you. Remember this:

It's not how it looks... It's how it performs!
Once your core is set using only 1500 psi hydraulics, KOR-LOK™ provides

100% PreLoad to RATED LOAD, at zero pressure.

    KOR-LOK™
In the past, core applications required choosing the best REACTIVE method available at the time, reacting to force but not applying it. Remember, if it's not applied force, it's not maintaining position. Core/Slide Molding Methods. KOR-LOK™'s PROACTIVE Technology™ and 100% applied force provides you with the advantages of Zero Flash™, Zero Flex™ performance. At PFA, we studied the process, we designed the system, we know why it works, and we know what it takes...it takes KOR-LOK™.

Through Mold Design, Build, and Production-
We're with you every step of the way

    1. PART DESIGN
Art to Part - PFA gives you the design freedom to do it all. Complex geometries, tight tolerances, perfect match lines and clean beautiful textures are now simple and easy. No limits. Indulge yourself.

    2. MOLD DESIGN
More complex parts and increased demands on your time mean you don't have time to make mistakes. Use PFA's turn-key system and get it right the first time, every time - faster than ever before! Our application specialists are available to help you 24 hours a day and CAD files on the internet are just a click away.

    3. MOLD BUILD
More...Better...Faster...For Less Money. KOR LOK™ Enhanced™ molds make ideal parts. Immediate delivery, simplified geometry, and easy installation means a quicker mold build. Smaller mold bases, simpler slides, and reduced time is money in your pocket.

    4. PRODUCTION
PFA's KOR-LOK™ Side-Action Systems compensate for changes in molds due to wear, thermal gradients, pressure variations, and flex. Reduced maintenance, improved up-time, consistant quality, and reduced cost per part - KOR-LOK™ is your answer.
