Robotic Crash Protection
Flexible wrist tool holding with an Overload Protection Device (OPD) provides independent control of the robot in a crash condition and an immediate vent of pressure to allow tooling to go limp at the wrist and minimize possible damage.  Systems combine sensor shutdown with air pressure adjustment sensitivity. Integration with PFA’s modular RCC’s and grippers provides for a fully protected EOAT solution.
